The Hard Conversation

What's the potential cost of one hard conversation?

Conflict.

A strained relationship. Temporary, hopefully. Or it could result in ongoing awkwardness (leading to another hard conversation).

Losing a friend. (Or a team member, volunteer, etc.)

Personal discomfort with confrontation.

What's the potential benefit of one hard conversation?

Poor behavior or attitude is corrected (or eliminated).

A blindspot is uncovered.

A person is turned from sin.

A team is now stronger.

What's the worst that can happen if I have the hard conversation? Can I live with that?

What's the best that can happen if if I have the hard conversation? Can I live without that?
