Exceptional Worship Ministry Coaching Group

Can 90 minutes of coaching
once a month for a year
really change your worship ministry?
No.
It's what you'll be able to build
between those 90 minutes each month
that will make your ministry exceptional.
Exceptional Worship Ministry is a coaching experience that will help you grow your leadership and build your team:
- Lead intentionally towards your preferred future.
- Build a unified team that's focused on the mission.
- Tailor your leadership to your unique personality, gifts and strengths.
- Grow a leadership team that complements you (and outlasts you).
- Find and develop more (and better) musicians.
- Motivate your musicians to prepare on their own.
- Make productive rehearsals into a reality, not a wish.
- Create systems and structures that enable growth
- Lead your church into more meaningful and engaging worship
Exceptional Worship Ministry is a limited-space coaching group. It's only open for up to nine motivated worship leaders.
Each month, we'll tackle a new area of worship leadership and team development. You'll learn from not only Jon's teaching, but also from the other leaders and their experience. After each month's prep and coaching call, you'll be equipped to begin a new challenge. And the relationships in the group will give you added motivation and accountability.
Applications are being accepted for the February 2013 group. There's no fee for applying. After applying, Jon will connect with you by email. Together you will determine if this coaching experience is a good fit for you.

Commit to monthly coaching calls. Calls about 90 minutes or so.
Commit to monthly prep work. There will be a couple hours of reading and preparation before each call.
A Skype account. Most of our calls will be through phone calls to a conference call site. But we may have occasional Skype meetings. (Skype accounts are free.)
How much does it cost? Are there payment options?
$69 a month (or less). And, yes. There are different payment options, some that will even reduce your costs:
Pay monthly:
$69
Pay in full and get one month free

$759
What if I hate it? Can I get my money back?
Short answer: yes. Not quite as short: if you're not satisfied with this coaching group within the first two months, Jon will refund the entire amount you've paid. After the first two months, refunds will be prorated.
Most coaching sessions will occur on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1 PM EST/EDT. These are subject to change. However plenty of advanced notice will be given for changes.

Why a full year?
Leadership and team development isn't a microwave. It's a slow-cooking crock pot. Getting the content is the easy part. But putting it to use requires time and patience. By pacing the flow of content over a year, it gives you time to process the information and implement it in a way that fits your culture.
What topics will we cover each month?

Titles and schedule subject to change. And by that we probably mean "subject to be tweaked."
What if I have to miss a meeting?
The meetings are usually recorded. Jon is always available by email to help members catch up. He's even be known to do some 1:1 phone-calls to help someone catch up.
Why only nine people?
Since this is the inaugural run for this coaching experience, we're keeping it smaller to ensure plenty of high quality interaction. Later experiences will likely be larger (and may cost more). So take advantage of this "first run" to get higher interaction and lower price.
What technology do I need to partcipate?
Most of the time, you'll be using the phone, along with logging into a meeting site (for screen sharing). Occasionally, we'll meet "face to face." For this, it's important that you have a computer equipped with a webcam and microphone. You'll likely need either a Google+ or Skype account for video chatting. Both are free. You'll want to get the best possible internet connection you can for these video meetings.
Also, you'll have the option to submit video tape of your worship service for feedback and critique. If you choose to do that, you'll need the a recording device and a Youtube or Vimeo account to upload and share your video.
