Small Church/Big Worship

Forget “excellence” and what other churches are doing:
create REMARKABLE worship gatherings instead.

Build a leadership structure and systems that will work for
WHERE YOU'RE AT
(and will grow for WHERE YOU'RE GOING)

Arrange BIG SONGS for small bands.

Smallschedule a workshop at your church Church/Big Worship is a 1-day seminar that’s designed from top to bottom for smaller congregations. I’ve been on staff in three churches under 120. And as a worship leader in those churches, I would occasionally attend conferences with big names and big productions all geared towards big churches with big bands and even bigger budgets. Those were fun events and personally refreshing, but I also left frustrated knowing that 90% of what I experienced was out of my reach.

So Small Church/Big Worship comes out of that working in and with smaller churches. It starts with two premises:

First, churches of less than 200 are NOT (and should not try to be) miniature versions of larger churches. A church of 95 people has a different quality than a church of 500. It’s still the local body of Christ with a mission to make disciples and bring glory to God, but how it does that is different.

Second, every church has what they need RIGHT NOW. God has given our churches the people and resources we need at this moment. Small Church/Big Worship will help pastors and volunteers recognize how they can do more with less, all while preparing for God to give them more people and resources in the future.

Here's what people said about this event:

Attention Worship Leaders of small churches. Being a worship leader in a small church , I attended a seminar [Small Church/Big Worship] with our Pastor and worship team, and I want to invite you to check out Worship Team Coach. Jon Nicol has created an amazing site here and you need to check it out! You will be blessed!

I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your workshop today. Although I have a background in small churches, I’m now a worship leader at medium-large size church. When I arrived and realized that the workshop was for smaller churches, I wondered for just a minute if I should just leave. Then I remembered that the Lord knew I would be there and opened my heart and mind to learning whatever He had me there for. Although your workshop is called Small Church/Big Worship, it has something there for every church size. I’ve been a church musician since I was 14...and yet there was still plenty for me to take away from your workshop. ...I would strongly urge any worship leader, tech team, worship team, or pastor to attend your workshops.

This is a perfect seminar for a small team in a small church. The whole day was packed with practical information we can really use.
