Barre Chords

Chord Voicings for the Advancing Guitarist:
Barre Chord Training
[Digital Download]

Chord Voicings for the Advancing GuitaristThe barre chord (or bar chord - how it's played it is the important part - not how it's spelled) is a what separates the guitar from every other instrument. What other instrument can play one "shape" and move it around to play in any key?

There are two guitar lessons in this 28-minute video download. The first one begins with the very basics - like"How do you push down all those strings at one time?!" By the way, Jon has a trick to help you do just that.

This first video then moves into an advanced teaching of all the variations of the E-shape barre chord: major, minor, dom7, m7, sus4, 7sus4, etc. And not only do you learn how to play these barre chord shapes, you'll also start understanding some of the chord and music theory behind these voicings.

The second video training focuses on the A-shape barre chord. This guitar lesson deals with each variation of this barre chord shape as well as the theory behind.

Since we're still working out a few kinks with digital download system, we're reducing the regular price. Once we're out of beta testing, the price will go back up.
